How would you respond?

Hey DK, I need some assistance on this one.
Very few of you may remember my previous diary about getting smear emails forwarded to me from my boss. She decided to respond to the list with my responses and one guy decided to email her back.
He responded with the picture of Barack Obama without his hand on his heart and Bill Richardson, Hillary Clinton, etc. in the background with their hands over their hearts.
My boss then responded back to him with pictures of Barack Obama with his hand over his heart. He then responded thusly:
It sure did. Check the dates on the photos. His handlers had to "instruct" him on proper flag etiquette after that debacle. Look, it’s not that he failed to put his hand over his heart once, it’s the fact that he didn’t know the difference. The guy simply does not have the experience to lead this country and this is a SMALL demonstration of his level of expertise.
His stance on the issues?
He’s one of the most liberal politicians in the federal government. He wants to tax and spend. He’s against the war. He’s anti-gun. He is a great speaker on change. I’m still waiting to hear WHAT change, but he definitely believes in that.....Put shortly, his values and mine are different. I have no use for him in my government and you’re not going to convince me otherwise. I am not susceptible to the brainwashing or spin of liberals.
If you really care to know what REALLY got under my skin, it was your condescending language and tone admonishing a rather large group of intelligent folks, most of whom I know. It sounded like you think we’re a bunch of ignorant hillbillies who believe everything we see and read and then are incapable of making an informed political decision. FYI, most of the people you insulted are distinguished veterans representing every military service who are for the most part fully informed and pointedly capable of making the decision on who is right for the Presidency of this nation that they have sacrificed so much for.
And yes, I still agree with your dad that we need to keep this idiot out of the White House regardless of what it says on Snopes.
Have a nice day.
I know what I wanna say, and it ain't pretty.
Help me construct a fair and as calm response to send to my boss to forward?
UPDATE: Many, many thanks to user soms for providing me with the materials I need to respond. Here is what I sent my boss and I'm crossing my fingers hoping she still wants to participate in this back and forth, if just for the other people on the list to see!!!
Dean,
I apologize if you felt as if I was condescending to you and anyone else on the list, as that was not my intent. I was simply disputing the smears that you yourself say don’t matter much anyway, and incorrect assertions about Senator Obama are not fair to him, Americans and those on this very list. I don’t believe that putting your hand over your heart during the National Anthem is any indication of ‘experience’ in regards to how one is going to help working class families and Americans in general.
Unfortunately, while you seem strong enough to not be susceptible to ‘brainwashing and spin of liberals’, you don’t seem to have the same stance regarding brainwashing and spin of neo-conservatives.
In regards to taxes, to label Barack Obama as a ‘tax and spend’ liberal would be incorrect on it’s face. Barack Obama is advocating a middle class tax cut where 80 percent of Americans will pay lower taxes under Obama than McCain.
Please check out CNN’s report from the nonpartisan Tax Policy Center with this breakdown (link here: http://money.cnn.com/... :

According to census data (http://www.census.gov/hhes/www/income/histinc/h01ar.html ) this would mean that at least 80% of Americans would be paying lower taxes under Obama than McCain. Everyone between 80%-95% would be paying less than they are paying now, even if some of them would pay less under John McCain's plan.
Regarding the War, well, most Americans are against the War. Even still, Barack Obama supported the 21st Century GI Bill that delivers strong education benefits to make college affordable to our troops coming home, while John McCain did not (http://www.gibill2008.org/state.html ). Senator Obama seems to be quite the patriot with that.
Regarding Guns, Senator Barack Obama was a constitutional law professor who supports the 2nd Amendment and will protect gun owner’s rights. Check out his stance here: http://www.barackobama.com/... . You may not support Senator Obama as a gun owner, but he received the endorsement of the American Hunters and Shooters Association. You can read the president, Ray Schoenke’s wholehearted endorsement of him here: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/... .
I’m happy to have a debate with you on the issues, the REAL issues that affect both of us every day.
