Mini-Ground Report - Indiana 4.26.08 [With Photos]

Sat Apr 26, 2008 at 03:27:08 PM PDT

Today, I had a meeting in Bloomington and some errands to run in Indianapolis.

So I thought.. why not visually record what I'm seeing in regards to Obama support for Kossacks?  After all, in many diaries I see the question again and again, "How's it looking in Indiana?"

Well, take a look at what I saw being out and about for a few hours.

Let me introduce some qualifiers:

--- I am well aware that bumper stickers and yard signs are not scientific evidence of support of a candidate.

--- I was not able to take a picture of every sign I saw because well.. I was driving.  I will estimate that:

***I saw approximately 6-8 Obama signs on cars and in yards that I wasn't able to document.

***I saw a total of 2 Hillary yard signs, one in Bloomington, one in Indy. I honestly believe that Hillary's ground game isn't as effective as Obama's, and more people would probably love Hillary yard signs/bumper stickers if they could get them.. but that's an uneducated guess.

--- I was not able to cover every inch of Bloomington or Indy, obviously.  Perhaps next time I decide to do this I will take some different routes and perhaps get some different results.

FYI, for those not familiar with Indiana, Indianapolis is smack dab in the center of the state and Bloomington is approximately 50 miles south.

What's this mean?
Probably not much.  I just wanted to share that Obamacans in Indiana are taking this pretty seriously, and we intend to do our part.
